Perle's SPEED LE range of universal PCI serial cards provide the low-cost, high performace solution companies need when adding RS232 serial ports to a Windows or Linux based PC or Server. The range of SPEED LE Serial Cards are PCI 2.3 compliant for 3.3v and 5v PCI bus slot support, and PCI-X compliant. Available in standard and low profile form factors, all SPEED LE cards come with a 15 Kv electrostatic discharge protection providing optimum reliability and peace of mind when connecting industrial data acquisition, Point of Sale, automation equipment and other RS232 serial devices to a PC server.

SPEED LE cards are certified with 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows, Vista and Linux operating systems. For Sun Solaris x86, Sun Solaris SPARC, SCO OpenServer and SCO UnixWare, we recommend UltraPort Serial Cards.
