Expanding on our popular ILinx Family, we've implemented additional robust features for the most demanding applications. Packaged in a rugged IP30 rated metal panel mount enclosure, ILinx Hardened converters have been put through some of the most demanding compliance tests in the industry. Meeting the requirements of IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613, they are suitable for installation in electrical substation applications. These specifications are more stringent than the NEMA TS1/TS2 requirements for transportation applications. The UL Class 1 Division 2 listing makes them ideal for use in hazardous locations.
Optical isolation protects your devices from transient surges and ground
loops on your data line. Model 485OPDR repeater adds 4,000 feet (1.2
km) and another 32 nodes to an RS-485 data circuit. By configuring one
side as RS-422 and the other as RS-485, Model 485OPDR can act as a
converter to allow your four wire RS-422 equipment to talk to a 2-wire
RS-485 device. Model 232OPDR isolates four RS-232 data signals.
LEDs indicate data transmission (232OPDR also has power-on LED).
